Project-based learning allows students to learn by doing and appling ideas. A project-based classroom allows students to investigate questions , propose hypotheses and explanations , discuss their ideas , challenge the ideas of others and try out new ideas. ın this learning methot have five features. So teachers start with a driving question , a problem to be solved. second students explore the driving question by participating in process of problem solving. Third students, teachers and community members engage in collaborative activities to find solutions to driving question. fourth , while engaged in inquiry process , students are scaffolded with learning technologies. And the end of this process students make a set of concrete products that address the driving question. ın project based science, students engage in real , meaningful problem that are important to them and that are similar to what scientist do. Student performance on curriculum based post tests , compared to their pretest performance , showed statistically significantly gains across all project . students who used more than one LETUS unit did significantly better on the state examination than students who used only one LETUS unit. And students motivation show hat students ' attitudes in science remain positive.

1-) How we could provide an environment to students sould  learn more effectively by developing artifact ?

2-) What level  teachers sould provide feedback  to students ?

project based learning

The aim of this article is to contribute the ongoing educational resources with project based learning approach. And the subsystems of the  project based approach are clearly defined in this article.  The ingredients of this approach are defined active construction, situated learning, social interactions and cognitive tools. That is easy to say the project based learning is sum of other types of learning approaches that we handled. And the key features of the project based learning approaches are defined as driving questions, situated inquiry, collaboration, learning  technologies and artifacts.

1)      What must be the level of the prior knowledge  to step up the education  to project based learning approach.

2)      Is our existing education approach’s project concept suited with the project based approach that stated in this article.

Proced-Based Learning

Proced-based learning is an overall approach to the design learning environments.Proced-based learning allows student to learn by doing and applying ideas.Students engage in real world activities that are similar to activities that adult professionals engage in. In project-based learning students engage in real meaningful problems that are important to them. Proced-based classroom allows students to investigate questions, propose hypotheses and explanations, discuss their ideas, challange ideas of others, and try out new ideas.Learning technologies can support students in accesing and collecting a range of scientific data and information ; by providing visualization and data analysis tools similar to those used by scientists ;by allowing for collaboration and sharing of information across sites ;by planning , building and testing models;and by devveloping multimedia documents thatilustrate student understanding.Proced-based learning have five key features: driving questions, situated inquiry, collaboration, learning technologies and artifacts.

Questions:
1)How do we use the technology tools effectively during lesson?
2)How do we give feed back to students effectively?

project based learning

In this study a better understanding of students and engagement will help to improve in project based learning are discussed. This learning allows students learn their thoughts by doing and applying. It provides the student's researching the hypothesis and instructions, researching questions suggesting new idea.It describes how the learning enviroments in project based learning should be designed. It describes that Dewey refers the idea of four main learning to be more effective in learning.Students creativity is important for project based learning.Five basic nature of project based learning are discussed. These are identify problems, inquiry, technology tools to use in support of learning, create marks.Research has shown that project based classes have achieved successful results than classical education classroom enviroments do.

questions:1-Can project based learning be used in all lessons?
2-What should be done to develop a project-based learning?

Project-Based Learning

This research showed that to better design project-based environments, the importance of selecting driving questions that can help students meet important learning goals and the importance of helping students see the value of the driving question, the challenges of using technology and explored various techniques to integrate technology throughout the curriculum and  the importance of supporting teachers in complex instruction by providing them with explicit strategies. Also this research has taught about how to help teachers do project based science by developing highly developed and highly specified mate materials. The materials focus instruction on a driving question that students find meaningful and important, and around which students can develop an understanding of central learning goals. Using these materials, teachers can engage students in scientific investigations, make use of cognitive tools, promote collaboration, and teach them the deeper conceptual understanding that traditional methods of instruction cannot.

Question:
How can we ask driving questions relating to simple machines?

PROJECT -BASED LEARNİNG

According to the research carried out by the scientists roughly beetween 1980s and 1990s, It was proven that as long as the students were bored and independent in classroom, they were no doubtedly learned little even, the best students who got  high levels in the exams, lacked of a deeper conceptual understanding of material because of the shallow knowledge they acquired in high school.
Learning scientist came up with an idea that cognitive sciencewould be successfull in assisting students and surroundingthem with high structure of deeper conceptual understanding, excluding the superficial teaching system applied  in schools.
A project-based classroom, unlike in traditional classrooms, enable students to investigate questions, assert hypothesis and explanations, and direct them to discuss the topics which have been chosen from the real life experiences .
It is reasonable to isolate the process of Project-Based Learning into 5 steps, in which a driving question is scattered, both exploration and expressions of ideas are implemented by the students, a classroom which indicates collaborative activities is voluntarily formed, cognitive tools such as computers are provided to stimulate the students take part in activities, and eventually because students are are exposed to discourse, they will have the oppurtunity to adopt a concrete example of product for future use.
There are 5 ways of understanding how students learn, one of which is Active Construction that wholly captures the learner’s experiences and interactions in the world. Situated learning, on the hand, brings about changes on students allowing them to grasp the value and meaning of of the tasks and activities in the classroom rather than solely making them go through the coursebook.
Use of variable cognitive tools in the classroom affects student’s accessing and collecting a range of scientific data and information. It also provides visualization.
The passage explains that a claim, evidence, and reasoning, are main factors of framework while learning. At the end of the course of Project-Based Science what is expected from the students is that they should be well qualified to interpret a given set of findings in another way.
Especially, teachers should be on the alert that students are made groups of two, so that they will be have the chance of comparing one another’s opinions.
Question 1 ) Even though it is said that activities applied in classroom should make sense, will students be able to utilize the knowledge outside of classroom?
Question 2 )Wouldn’t it be wise to say that technology is a great tool of easy-access to get any knowledge the learners wants?

PROJECT -BASED LEARNİNG

In this section the development of project-based learning , its importance and how it shoul be implemented is described. The early 1990s , educators have been unable to motivate students to learn science at school most of the bored realized that even the best students learned even a superficial knowledge. This approach stems from inneffective textbooks and teaching style began to discover.Learning sciences research aims to find solutions to these problems. To find solutions to these problems, increas student participation and project-based learning has been developed to provide deep learning.Project-based learning allows students to learn by applying ideas and making. To do this, run real –world problems, and other similar problems.Fundamentals of project-based learning , John Dewey’s work is based.Project-based learning where students construct their own knowledge, based on the constructivist approach provides deep learning.Project- based learning classrooms, student work on problems and suggestions to investigate the hypotheses.Learning science is important that the basic structure of four. These active learning, situated learning, social interaction and cognitive tools.Projet-based and has the potantial to help students learn. There are five key features of project-based learning. They asked the driver , in the inquiry, collaboration, learning technologies and artifacts.Good questions exposes students desire to learn. The teacher should assist the student at each stage. Project-based learning have been studied for the high school and elementary schools in their article are included.According to the studies of project-based learning classrooms ,grades are higher than traditional classes.

Questions:
1. What are the limitations of project-based learning? How do these limitations be reduced?
2. Which stages should be given feedback? Feedback, when you need to pay attention to?

PROJECT -BASED LEARNİNG

Project – based learning was discovered 1990s. PBL is an instructional method that provide pupils’ skills about every dicipline. Active construction , situated learning , social interactions , and cognitive tools are theoretical background of project –based learning . PBL have five key features . There are driving questions, situated inquiry , collaboration , learning technologies , and artifacts. At first , applying Project –based learning methods schools adopted this curriculum . Student performance had scaled pre and post – test . According to tests’ results , pupils had significant learning gains. In addition , students showed that positive views and attitudes about science in this research. If curriculum carefully design with PBL , students will have substantial learning gains. Researchers hope that teachers will use this methods. But most teachers think that this method take long time and they have any appropriate materials for PBL. If teachers are provide about  PBL methods by researchers , they will improve themselves and help to develop PBL and materials. My question ;
Every individual have different solution about driving question . Answers may be correct or wrong. In this instance , how could teachers control in crowded classrooms ?
How can we do assessment in PBL? Are important groups or individuals evaluated ?
Does not occur in a competitive environment in classroom ? Doesn’t be reflect harmful efects of this  in learning environments ?

project-based learning

Many learning scientists are developing new types of curricula, with the goal of increasing student engagement and helping them develop deeper understanding of important ideas. Project-based learning allows students to learn by doing and applying ideas. Students engage in realworld activities that are similar to the activities that adult professionals engage in. In project-based science (PBS), students engage in real, meaningful problems that are important to them and that are similar to what scientists do. A project based science classroom allows students to explore phenomena, investigate questions, discuss their ideas, challenge the ideas of others and try out new ideas.

What does the driving question do?
