In this study , Sawyer comprehensively examined that education efforts comes from the past to the present.

Form of education known as instructionism was transformed  into a different model when a new science of learning was born. Thus , scientists reached a consensus on the basic facts about learning. Sawyer tried to make a definition of new science  called the learning sciences. As a result of this, Sawyer observed that researchers fall on conflict resolution from time to time . ın this hand book is also included important ideas of experts such as Piaget , Collins and Brown.

Consequently , scientists concluded that students to be more succesfull when they reach to knowledge on their own rather than teachers  own knowledge and ways of thinking trans into students.

I wonder that questions :

-          Why Sawyer did not bring clarify that computers used by students was drop from 12.1 students for each computer to 4.4 in 1998 ?

-          Wouldn’t Sawyer give a little more information about contribution became to education of computers ?

The New Science of Learning

Teaching is important, but learning is much more important. And constructionism means giving children good things to do so that they can learn by doing much better than they could before. This is how people make exciting new discoveries. Prior knowledge is important for learning new concepts. And using in Science. So students dealing with  existing misconceptions.

Questions:

1) How can teachers improve students misconceptions?
2) Where was science if instructionism engaged by the schoolls, today?
in my opinion that  this article mention instructionism and constructivism. instructionism is teacher-centered aproach. constructivism is student-centered aproach. at the first stage used instructionism in education . but the world rapidly changed about  economy, industry and tecnology. for these reasons constructivist approach being used
in education.constructivist approach, which is an important collaboration, problem solving, thinking, etc. at the forefront of things.in addition, in this article mention effect of computer assited instruction at past. and today it says that  we use better than past .
my questions:1) how is the prior knowledge about effect of learning?
                        2) how much can we benefit from CAI at science and how many percent of experiment at science?

The New Science Of Learning

First Command:  After reading this article I think that, an effective science teaching is to help children for participate in constructing their own knowledge and to teach how to use that knowledge in real- world problems.

Second Comment:  I think there is no need to prepare a curriculum for science and all science lessons are established by the students past experience about science. So simulating the real life for having a science experiments is not necessary.

First Question:  Is it possible to grap all our students to learning science, despite their so many different learning habits, if we design an effective learning environments?

Second Question:  How can we teach any science theme, if we don't have enough experiments about it, in real life?

In this article it is said that the new learning science is developed because of the deficiencies of the methods and techniques which were used in the past. When the changes and developments are rapid, the need of education underwent a change.I agree with the idea that it is essential that learners should participate in this process and appropriate learning environment should be created to acquire a deep learning. If the learners use the knowledge in their own lives,it makes the knowledge useful and meaningful because the useful knowledge is permenant.

Questions:
1)What can be done for the learners to let them transfer their knowledge everyday life?
2)How can educatıonal technology be activated?

The development of industry and economy, science learning perspective has changed from past to present. İnnovations in the science of learning are discussed in this article. New approaches to learning how it works in the science of parents, teachers, politicians and professionals are discussed in terms of. Scientists' work on this subject are presented. Organization of the student's learning environment is important to ensure that deep learning. Technology should be used in regulating educational environments. İs not an empty vessel to be filled in the minds of the students.Students have access to the information instead of memorizing information and this information is able to use the information reaches adapt to different problems.  I think that teachers should plan lessons in accordance with these innovations.
Questions:
1   Classroom atmosphere so that students learn how to deep-regulated.
2    What is the role of the teacher in this change has been many changes in the science of learning.

Opinion about the article “The New Science of Learning”

That is clearly stated in the article today’s worlds requirements are more different and complicated than before. For this reason education which starting with the first breath for a person, need to be evolved to meet the requirements. And the educational researchers have to be more and more close to the classroom, teachers and education environments to get quick, effective and real feedback to improve and modify their education approach. This article gives an excellent summary to compare the old and new education approaches and shows the effectiveness of getting closer to the learning environment for education researchers with the observable result.

The questions that may discuss

1)How we limit the usage of technology in education.
2)Is an educational researcher must be also a teacher or there must be strict differences between them.
